This page explains, in plain language, what happens to a video when you use this tool. It is written for people, not lawyers.
This tool is operated by David's Dearest GmbH, Leopoldstraße 31, 80802 München, Deutschland, represented by David Skudlik. For anything on this page, write to hello@davidsdearest.com. Full company details are on the imprint.
There are no user accounts. We do not ask for your name, and we do not build a profile of you.
On a rented server in Falkenstein, Germany, inside the European Union. The video is not copied to any other company, and it is not sent to any artificial-intelligence service — the framing is done by ordinary image processing on that same server.
Concert footage usually shows performers and sometimes the audience. If you upload such a recording, you are responsible for having the right to use it — normally your own recording, or one you have permission to publish. If you believe a recording of you has been uploaded without permission, write to hello@davidsdearest.com and it will be removed.
Subito is in closed testing, and we keep a simple record of how it is being used so we can fix what gets in people’s way. It is worth being precise about what that does and does not mean.
What is recorded: the name on your invite code, which step you reached (opened, uploaded, framed, exported, shared), the size and type of file, how long an export took, and the kind of error if something failed.
What is not recorded: anything about the content of your video, your IP address, your location, your device fingerprint, or what you do anywhere else. Nothing is shared with anyone, and no third-party service is involved: the record is a plain file on the same server.
It is kept for 90 days and then deleted. If you would rather not be counted, say so at hello@davidsdearest.com and your code will be excluded. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in making the tool work (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Entering your code stores one cookie so you are not asked again on that device. It holds your code and the name it was issued to, nothing else, and signing out removes it.
Under the GDPR (Art. 15–21) you can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, or ask for a copy. Because there are no accounts, the quickest deletion is to wait 7 days or to write to us. Contact hello@davidsdearest.com.
You may also complain to a supervisory authority. The one responsible for us is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA).
The legal basis for storing your video and making the clip is the performance of the service you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b)); server logs are kept on the basis of our legitimate interest in running the service securely (Art. 6(1)(f)).
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
