The short version: this is a tool for reframing your own video. Be sensible with it, and understand that it is offered as-is.

What this tool does

It takes a wide (landscape) video you upload, lets you choose a section and where the frame should sit, and produces an upright clip suitable for Instagram, TikTok or YouTube. It does not add captions, music, or join clips.

Using it

• Upload only video you have the right to use — your own recording, or one you have permission to publish.
• Do not upload anything unlawful, or material that infringes someone else's rights.
• Do not use the tool to harass anyone or to misrepresent a performance.
• The password is for you and the people you were asked to share it with. Please do not post it publicly.

Your video stays yours

You keep every right in the video you upload and in the clips you export. We claim no ownership and make no other use of your material. What we store, and for how long, is set out on the privacy page.

This is a service in testing

The tool is offered as-is, without warranty. It may be unavailable, may change, and may occasionally fail. Uploads and exports are deleted automatically after 7 days, so keep your own copy of anything you care about — do not treat this as storage.

Limits

To the extent the law allows, David's Dearest GmbH is not liable for lost material, lost time, or indirect loss arising from use of the tool. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Stopping

You can stop using the tool at any time. We may withdraw access if the tool is being misused.
